{"id":"UBUNTU-CVE-2021-39210","details":"GLPI is a free Asset and IT management software package. In versions prior to 9.5.6, the cookie used to store the autologin cookie (when a user uses the \"remember me\" feature) is accessible by scripts. A malicious plugin that could steal this cookie would be able to use it to autologin. This issue is fixed in version 9.5.6. As a workaround, one may avoid using the \"remember me\" feature.","modified":"2025-10-24T04:50:29Z","published":"2021-09-15T17:15:00Z","upstream":["CVE-2021-39210"],"references":[{"type":"REPORT","url":"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2021-39210"},{"type":"REPORT","url":"https://github.com/glpi-project/glpi/security/advisories/GHSA-hwxq-4c5f-m4v2"},{"type":"REPORT","url":"https://huntr.dev/bounties/b2e99a41-b904-419f-a274-ae383e4925f2/"},{"type":"REPORT","url":"https://github.com/glpi-project/glpi/releases/tag/9.5.6"},{"type":"REPORT","url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2021-39210"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"glpi","ecosystem":"Ubuntu:16.04:LTS","purl":"pkg:deb/ubuntu/glpi@0.84.8+dfsg.1-1ubuntu1?arch=source&distro=xenial"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"}]}],"versions":["0.84.8+dfsg.1-1","0.84.8+dfsg.1-1ubuntu1"],"ecosystem_specific":{"binaries":[{"binary_name":"glpi","binary_version":"0.84.8+dfsg.1-1ubuntu1"}]},"database_specific":{"source":"https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-security-notices/blob/main/osv/cve/2021/UBUNTU-CVE-2021-39210.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.7.3","severity":[{"type":"CVSS_V3","score":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N"},{"type":"CVSS_V3","score":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N"},{"type":"Ubuntu","score":"medium"}]}
