{"id":"MAL-2026-13183","summary":"Malicious code in dolyame-ui-skeleton (npm)","details":"\n---\n_-= Per source details. Do not edit below this line.=-_\n\n## Source: amazon-inspector (340d04c991fde57848574728e622b6f4c3b1d2e7dcd061e590c4da91bbc6f12d)\nPackage advertises itself as a visual/UI components library but ships a load-time binary dropper. index.js unconditionally requires./_vendor.js, which on require() downloads a platform-specific binary from obfuscated Cloudflare Workers hosts (oob-worker.cf101-adf.workers.dev, oob-worker.cf102-baf.workers.dev, oob-worker.cf99-9b3.workers.dev), writes it to a hidden cache path, chmods 0755, and spawns it detached via /bin/sh or cmd. Destination hostnames are reconstructed at runtime by joining string fragments (e.g. [\"oob-worker.cf101-adf\",\".workers.dev\"].join(\"\") and ['sdk.dl.wel','1.r','u'].join(\"\")) to evade static analysis. A fallback delivery path issues DNS TXT queries against sdk.dl.wel1.ru, ext.dl.wel1.ru, pkg.dl.wel1.ru, and net.dl.wel1.ru (c.\u003cdomain\u003e for chunk count, then N.\u003cdomain\u003e for base64-encoded chunks), reassembles the chunks, and executes the resulting binary — a covert channel that bypasses HTTPS egress filtering. Filenames such as analytics_state, dotnet_diag_*.exe, and.cache_* serve as cover for the dropped payload. There is no legitimate need for a UI component package to fetch and execute native binaries, obfuscate its destinations, or use DNS TXT for content delivery.\n","modified":"2026-08-05T15:53:02.539060376Z","published":"2026-08-05T15:09:42Z","database_specific":{"malicious-packages-origins":[{"id":"IN-MAL-2026-015590","import_time":"2026-08-05T15:19:59.441594445Z","modified_time":"2026-08-05T15:09:42Z","sha256":"340d04c991fde57848574728e622b6f4c3b1d2e7dcd061e590c4da91bbc6f12d","source":"amazon-inspector","versions":["35.2.5"]}]},"references":[{"type":"PACKAGE","url":"https://www.npmjs.com/package/dolyame-ui-skeleton/v/35.2.5"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"dolyame-ui-skeleton","ecosystem":"npm","purl":"pkg:npm/dolyame-ui-skeleton"},"versions":["35.2.5"],"database_specific":{"indicators":{"package_integrity":[{"hashes":{"sha1":"6810d4a35697034f717c8da69492a9ede42b5ea2","sha512_sri":"sha512-cL5fFhyq/VcqxuKU1pcon2ZmC3evC99veyJUOeWaaL/wXeZFo25hfB+B4uGo+Reki2hOWBV4/f4Xxc9jglQZPA=="},"filename":"dolyame-ui-skeleton-35.2.5.tgz"}],"evidence_files":[{"tlsh":"65a1a79616a570188bb0d7e0c70b4816fa5bf6633780d284fb9c65945fb35248372efc","path":"_vendor.js","sha256":"cee51d8944387ccf66bc9b81df6557d911aa7b660628f2950b866f6b54eaeaa6"}]},"cwes":[{"name":"Embedded Malicious Code","cweId":"CWE-506","description":"The product contains code that appears to be malicious in nature."}],"source":"https://github.com/ossf/malicious-packages/blob/main/osv/malicious/npm/dolyame-ui-skeleton/MAL-2026-13183.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.8.0","credits":[{"name":"Amazon Inspector","contact":["inspector-research@amazon.com"],"type":"FINDER"}]}
