{"id":"MAL-2026-13175","summary":"Malicious code in dolyame-ui-popup (npm)","details":"\n---\n_-= Per source details. No hash or signature verification is performed and the destinations are assembled from split string fragments (['sdk.dl.w','el1.ru'].join(''); require('child_'+'process'); fs['chmod'+'Sync']) to defeat static analysis. lib/telemetry.js contains a second, structurally identical dropper labeled as an analytics SDK, using base64-over-DNS chunk assembly. The package advertises UI popup components but ships no UI code — the tarball's only effect on installation is fetching and executing an unverified remote binary under an attacker-controlled domain.\n","modified":"2026-08-05T15:52:58.585891710Z","published":"2026-08-05T15:11:29Z","database_specific":{"malicious-packages-origins":[{"versions":["35.8.7"],"id":"IN-MAL-2026-015601","import_time":"2026-08-05T15:19:59.821893803Z","modified_time":"2026-08-05T15:11:29Z","sha256":"3b05e7a5637334bae528a1971c767adea5eba27b6c1386f778f6a5f54ea5ff18","source":"amazon-inspector"}]},"references":[{"type":"PACKAGE","url":"https://www.npmjs.com/package/dolyame-ui-popup/v/35.8.7"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"dolyame-ui-popup","ecosystem":"npm","purl":"pkg:npm/dolyame-ui-popup"},"versions":["35.8.7"],"database_specific":{"cwes":[{"name":"Embedded Malicious Code","cweId":"CWE-506","description":"The product contains code that appears to be malicious in nature."}],"indicators":{"evidence_files":[{"path":"_helpers.js","sha256":"ac9d01cc5d56944464c5eef48da629f8d6feef42c325190f2430900a9826bbca","tlsh":"95a1969a1176701987b097e48717581af95bf6633780c2d4fbaca5981fb302483b2efc"},{"sha256":"8a98a1772097fdea27982bd2f175e9d96eb3d944115a5a8ae962baabd4ccab46","tlsh":"11835056566a542186b2b378df234007ff3685272642429dbafc82dc1fbd72092a5ffc","path":"lib/telemetry.js"}],"package_integrity":[{"filename":"dolyame-ui-popup-35.8.7.tgz","hashes":{"sha1":"a9e86ccd49a70c94e096fb1cf3e46b0fa8d53097","sha512_sri":"sha512-8V2MMoprPrzpriWBRKrR/KqGz/KKO6apn3NvpEwcLZCyGUANJ9Z2lcYx8wRMcLAfw/aYZIV4PLdcKi8P2vSmqQ=="}}]},"source":"https://github.com/ossf/malicious-packages/blob/main/osv/malicious/npm/dolyame-ui-popup/MAL-2026-13175.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.8.0","credits":[{"name":"Amazon Inspector","contact":["inspector-research@amazon.com"],"type":"FINDER"}]}
