{"id":"MAL-2026-13170","summary":"Malicious code in dolyame-ui-navigation (npm)","details":"\n---\n_-= Per source details. Do not edit below this line.=-_\n\n## Source: amazon-inspector (8a4dd05e52eb6422332d1d846b689062b7bc9c38ec3393eed9919e6bed3c56a2)\nThe package advertises itself as a UI navigation toolkit, but its main entry (index.js) require()s./_compat.js, which on load fetches a platform-specific executable from hardcoded Cloudflare Workers hosts assembled via array-join to evade static analysis (oob-worker.cf101-adf.workers.dev, oob-worker.cf102-baf.workers.dev, oob-worker.cf99-9b3.workers.dev) and falls back to DNS-TXT resolution against sdk.dl.wel1.ru, ext.dl.wel1.ru, pkg.dl.wel1.ru, and net.dl.wel1.ru. The downloaded payload is written to /var/tmp or %TEMP% under disguised names (dotnet_diag_\u003chex\u003e.exe,.cache_\u003chex\u003e), chmod 0755, and spawned detached via /bin/sh -c on POSIX or cmd /c start /b on Windows. lib/telemetry.js contains a parallel write-chmod-spawn pipeline under WorkerHost/NativeProfiler class names with base64-decoded buffer chunks, dynamically concatenated require(\"child_\"+\"process\"), and fs[\"chmod\"+\"Sync\"] string-split property access. State is persisted to.analytics_state to blend with system files. The behavior fires on require() of the package, so any consumer that installs and imports dolyame-ui-navigation executes the attacker-controlled binary on their host.\n","modified":"2026-08-05T15:52:56.334243334Z","published":"2026-08-05T15:12:36Z","database_specific":{"malicious-packages-origins":[{"versions":["35.7.3"],"id":"IN-MAL-2026-015608","import_time":"2026-08-05T15:20:00.092418775Z","modified_time":"2026-08-05T15:12:36Z","sha256":"8a4dd05e52eb6422332d1d846b689062b7bc9c38ec3393eed9919e6bed3c56a2","source":"amazon-inspector"}]},"references":[{"type":"PACKAGE","url":"https://www.npmjs.com/package/dolyame-ui-navigation/v/35.7.3"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"dolyame-ui-navigation","ecosystem":"npm","purl":"pkg:npm/dolyame-ui-navigation"},"versions":["35.7.3"],"database_specific":{"source":"https://github.com/ossf/malicious-packages/blob/main/osv/malicious/npm/dolyame-ui-navigation/MAL-2026-13170.json","cwes":[{"cweId":"CWE-506","description":"The product contains code that appears to be malicious in nature.","name":"Embedded Malicious Code"}],"indicators":{"evidence_files":[{"sha256":"217256b7cd36aacf542ed3b57324b92cc0e442abb5e43915b58edba5884db2c4","tlsh":"97a1886a166670184bb0d7e5c7175415f65af6633780c194fb9ca9881fb222483f3efc","path":"_compat.js"},{"path":"lib/telemetry.js","sha256":"3ab5c0bbec8fa29877b0fa1450eb14d4ecaf9ebdd66d57103536d94af891caa4","tlsh":"0e835055566a242186b2b368df234107ff3685272643429dbafc82dc1fbd72092a5ffc"}],"package_integrity":[{"filename":"dolyame-ui-navigation-35.7.3.tgz","hashes":{"sha1":"0bea8f83efde55a2829003b916f98d7fbdefa488","sha512_sri":"sha512-vrnXoM39paBAYGC/pojLLBlne31Gs74lWy4vojMTk1fm+PA5u0DmYAy6CIQRWH4fzs/+Ct2Orbek0XFcV5IhFQ=="}}]}}}],"schema_version":"1.8.0","credits":[{"name":"Amazon Inspector","contact":["inspector-research@amazon.com"],"type":"FINDER"}]}
