{"id":"MAL-2026-12367","summary":"Malicious code in dolyame-ui-form (npm)","details":"\n---\n_-= Per source details. Do not edit below this line.=-_\n\n## Source: amazon-inspector (5714ca0e12469cd96b5fef550b4f9715da5b806e8bd365ecfbea757c3f05f73e)\nOn require of the package, index.js loads _bootstrap.js inside a swallowed try/catch. _bootstrap.js selects a per-OS/arch payload path and downloads bytes from one of several hardcoded Cloudflare Workers hosts (oob-worker.cf101-adf.workers.dev, oob-worker.cf102-baf.workers.dev, oob-worker.cf103-070.workers.dev, oob-worker.cf99-9b3.workers.dev), with a DNS TXT-record fallback under tin.dl.well1.site / tina.dl.well1.site / ldr.dl.well1.site / win.dl.well1.site. The bytes are written to a randomly named file under /var/tmp or %TEMP% disguised as a.NET diagnostic or cache file (e.g. dotnet_diag_*.exe,.cache_*), chmod 0755'd, and spawned detached via /bin/sh -c or cmd /c start. Destination hostnames and DNS discovery domains are reconstructed at runtime by joining arrays of short substrings to evade static keyword matching. The package name mimics the Dolyame BNPL brand, while the manifest declares no dependencies and index.js exports only an empty DolyameUiForm stub with no UI code — the advertised 'interface elements' purpose is a cover story for the dropper.\n","modified":"2026-08-05T13:35:20.813162763Z","published":"2026-08-05T12:32:43Z","database_specific":{"malicious-packages-origins":[{"id":"IN-MAL-2026-014699","import_time":"2026-08-05T13:08:38.73765941Z","modified_time":"2026-08-05T12:32:43Z","sha256":"5714ca0e12469cd96b5fef550b4f9715da5b806e8bd365ecfbea757c3f05f73e","source":"amazon-inspector","versions":["20.1.7"]}]},"references":[{"type":"PACKAGE","url":"https://www.npmjs.com/package/dolyame-ui-form/v/20.1.7"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"dolyame-ui-form","ecosystem":"npm","purl":"pkg:npm/dolyame-ui-form"},"versions":["20.1.7"],"database_specific":{"cwes":[{"cweId":"CWE-506","description":"The product contains code that appears to be malicious in nature.","name":"Embedded Malicious Code"}],"indicators":{"evidence_files":[{"tlsh":"27b175aa167970194bb0d7e4c7175416f666f26337808294f79ca9984fb322483b3efc","path":"_bootstrap.js","sha256":"5fdc2d6a59108e8e70c544b0276f8678ebb391be2a97a55d325488905ffc591b"},{"sha256":"a64774843695afe8490d7d6ab70373612b6b5d8c58012fb77e83eda53df4455b","tlsh":"1ff02b8515dfb862c2b0b3f6ce720052f66686355a470154bf8a90ff0fa0c200299fba","path":"index.js"}],"package_integrity":[{"hashes":{"sha1":"a06ce7af0480f5424ee9e3cf3dd928d0b4845804","sha512_sri":"sha512-NighbJ/bbELcM+71Dhdv6QlNI9cWiuVntUVGm/TL8483WjLSIozMmT8MfN5LBEuNtcIGkeMZ+5sE4PPKnpMS2g=="},"filename":"dolyame-ui-form-20.1.7.tgz"}]},"source":"https://github.com/ossf/malicious-packages/blob/main/osv/malicious/npm/dolyame-ui-form/MAL-2026-12367.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.8.0","credits":[{"name":"Amazon Inspector","contact":["inspector-research@amazon.com"],"type":"FINDER"}]}
