{"id":"DEBIAN-CVE-2026-41516","details":"OP-TEE is a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) designed as companion to a non-secure Linux kernel running on Arm; Cortex-A cores using the TrustZone technology. Starting in version 4.5.0 and prior to version 4.11.0, the RSA PKCS#1 v1.5 decryption implementation in the Hisilicon HPRE crypto driver uses non-constant-time `memcmp()` for label hash verification and has multiple distinguishable error paths. This creates a Bleichenbacher-style padding oracle that allows an attacker to recover RSA PKCS#1 v1.5  plaintext. Version 4.11.0 contains a patch. As a workaround, disable Hisilicon HPRE RSA driver with `CFG_HISILICON_ACC_V3=n`.","modified":"2026-09-14T17:03:10.492931154Z","published":"2026-07-06T20:16:32.197Z","upstream":["CVE-2026-41516"],"references":[{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2026-41516"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"optee-os","ecosystem":"Debian:13","purl":"pkg:deb/debian/optee-os?arch=source&distro=trixie"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"}]}],"versions":["4.10.0-1","4.10.0-2","4.5.0-2","4.7.0-1","4.8.0-1","4.9.0-1"],"ecosystem_specific":{"urgency":"not yet assigned"},"database_specific":{"source":"https://storage.googleapis.com/debian-osv/debian-cve-osv/DEBIAN-CVE-2026-41516.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.9.0","severity":[{"type":"CVSS_V3","score":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N"}]}
