{"id":"CVE-2026-70595","summary":"Ghost: Server-Side Request Forgery Mitigation Issue","details":"Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 6.26.0 until 6.54.1, a validation issue allowed some functionality, such as Webmentions, to be abused by an unauthenticated user to make limited HTTP requests to hosts in the Ghost server's internal network. A successful attack would not result in any response data being returned. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.54.1.","aliases":["BIT-ghost-2026-70595","GHSA-x5mm-wm4g-j5xv"],"modified":"2026-09-10T03:30:49.843108747Z","published":"2026-08-05T14:37:21.119Z","database_specific":{"osv_generated_from":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2026/70xxx/CVE-2026-70595.json","cna_assigner":"GitHub_M","cwe_ids":["CWE-918"]},"references":[{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2026/70xxx/CVE-2026-70595.json"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/security/advisories/GHSA-x5mm-wm4g-j5xv"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-70595"}],"affected":[{"ranges":[{"type":"GIT","repo":"https://github.com/tryghost/ghost","events":[{"introduced":"dc55b8cd752d6f0f08bcd81d935f26366d1c26a3"},{"fixed":"94e25d9de158bc10b6a74d9aad75944b1a68ee13"}],"database_specific":{"extracted_events":[{"introduced":"6.26.0"},{"fixed":"6.54.1"}],"source":"AFFECTED_FIELD"}}],"versions":["v6.54.0","v6.53.0","v6.52.1","v6.52.0","v6.51.0","v6.50.0","v6.49.0","v6.48.0","v6.47.0","v6.46.0","v6.45.0","v6.44.1","v6.44.0","v6.43.1","v6.43.0","v6.42.0","v6.41.1","v6.41.0","v6.40.0","v6.39.0","v6.38.0","v6.37.1","v6.37.0","v6.36.0","v6.35.0","v6.34.0","v6.33.0","v6.32.0","v6.31.0","v6.30.0","v6.29.1","v6.29.0","v6.28.0","v6.27.0","v6.26.0"],"database_specific":{"source":"https://storage.googleapis.com/cve-osv-conversion/osv-output/CVE-2026-70595.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.9.0","severity":[{"type":"CVSS_V3","score":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:N/A:N"}]}
