{"id":"CVE-2026-32634","summary":"Glances Central Browser Autodiscovery Leaks Reusable Credentials to Zeroconf-Spoofed Servers","details":"Glances is an open-source system cross-platform monitoring tool. Prior to version 4.5.2, in Central Browser mode, Glances stores both the Zeroconf-advertised server name and the discovered IP address for dynamic servers, but later builds connection URIs from the untrusted advertised name instead of the discovered IP. When a dynamic server reports itself as protected, Glances also uses that same untrusted name as the lookup key for saved passwords and the global `[passwords] default` credential. An attacker on the same local network can advertise a fake Glances service over Zeroconf and cause the browser to automatically send a reusable Glances authentication secret to an attacker-controlled host. This affects the background polling path and the REST/WebUI click-through path in Central Browser mode. Version 4.5.2 fixes the issue.","aliases":["GHSA-vx5f-957p-qpvm"],"modified":"2026-04-10T05:42:57.446589Z","published":"2026-03-18T17:55:30.552Z","related":["openSUSE-SU-2026:10415-1"],"database_specific":{"cna_assigner":"GitHub_M","cwe_ids":["CWE-346","CWE-522"],"osv_generated_from":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2026/32xxx/CVE-2026-32634.json"},"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://github.com/nicolargo/glances/releases/tag/v4.5.2"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2026/32xxx/CVE-2026-32634.json"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/nicolargo/glances/security/advisories/GHSA-vx5f-957p-qpvm"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-32634"},{"type":"FIX","url":"https://github.com/nicolargo/glances/commit/61d38eec521703e41e4933d18d5a5ef6f854abd5"}],"affected":[{"ranges":[{"type":"GIT","repo":"https://github.com/nicolargo/glances","events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"fixed":"a56a5b78ef931b1d1391c9898bf735a5b4323ec9"}]}],"versions":["v1.0","v1.1.2","v1.1.3","v1.2","v1.3","v1.3.1","v1.3.2","v1.3.3","v1.3.4","v1.3.5","v1.3.6","v1.3.7","v1.4","v1.4.1","v1.4.1.1","v1.4.2","v1.4.2.1","v1.5","v1.5.1","v1.5.2","v1.6","v1.6.1","v1.7","v1.7.1","v1.7.2","v1.7.3","v2.10","v2.11","v2.2","v2.3","v2.4.1","v2.4.2","v2.5","v2.5.1","v2.7","v2.7.1","v2.7_RC1","v2.8","v2.8.1","v2.8.2","v2.8.3","v2.8.4","v2.8.5","v2.8.6","v2.8.7","v2.8.8","v2.9.0","v2.9.1","v3.0","v3.1.0","v3.1.1","v3.1.2","v3.1.3","v3.1.4","v3.1.5","v3.1.6.1","v3.1.7","v3.2.0","v3.2.1","v3.2.2","v3.2.3","v3.2.3.1","v3.2.4","v3.2.4.1","v3.2.4.2","v3.2.5","v3.2.6","v3.2.7","v3.3.0","v3.3.0.1","v3.3.1","v3.4.0","v4.2.0","v4.3.0","v4.3.0.1","v4.3.0.2","v4.3.0.3","v4.3.0.6","v4.3.0.7","v4.3.0.8","v4.3.1","v4.3.2","v4.3.3","v4.4.0","v4.4.1","v4.5.0","v4.5.0.1","v4.5.0.2","v4.5.0.3","v4.5.0.4","v4.5.0.5","v4.5.1"],"database_specific":{"source":"https://storage.googleapis.com/cve-osv-conversion/osv-output/CVE-2026-32634.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.7.5","severity":[{"type":"CVSS_V3","score":"CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N"}]}
