{"id":"CVE-2026-25793","summary":"Nebula Has Possible Blocklist Bypass via ECDSA Signature Malleability","details":"Nebula is a scalable overlay networking tool. In versions from 1.7.0 to 1.10.2, when using P256 certificates (which is not the default configuration), it is possible to evade a blocklist entry created against the fingerprint of a certificate by using ECDSA Signature Malleability to use a copy of the certificate with a different fingerprint. This issue has been patched in version 1.10.3.","aliases":["GHSA-69x3-g4r3-p962","GO-2026-4458"],"modified":"2026-04-10T05:40:47.388819Z","published":"2026-02-06T22:55:36.011Z","related":["CGA-frwm-cmv5-pf55","SUSE-SU-2026:0757-1"],"database_specific":{"osv_generated_from":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2026/25xxx/CVE-2026-25793.json","cwe_ids":["CWE-347"],"cna_assigner":"GitHub_M"},"references":[{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5/tree/main/cves/2026/25xxx/CVE-2026-25793.json"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://github.com/slackhq/nebula/security/advisories/GHSA-69x3-g4r3-p962"},{"type":"ADVISORY","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-25793"},{"type":"FIX","url":"https://github.com/slackhq/nebula/commit/f573e8a26695278f9d71587390fbfe0d0933aa21"}],"affected":[{"ranges":[{"type":"GIT","repo":"https://github.com/slackhq/nebula","events":[{"introduced":"7ae3cd25f80d87cdb7c0d3c6ecd9be447af46535"},{"fixed":"f573e8a26695278f9d71587390fbfe0d0933aa21"}]}],"versions":["v1.10.0","v1.10.1","v1.10.2","v1.7.0","v1.7.1","v1.7.2","v1.8.0","v1.8.1","v1.8.2","v1.9.0","v1.9.1","v1.9.2","v1.9.3","v1.9.4"],"database_specific":{"source":"https://storage.googleapis.com/cve-osv-conversion/osv-output/CVE-2026-25793.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.7.5","severity":[{"type":"CVSS_V4","score":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N"}]}
