{"id":"BIT-prestashop-2023-25170","summary":"PrestaShop has possible CSRF token fixation","details":"PrestaShop is an open source e-commerce web application that, prior to version 8.0.1, is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery (CSRF). When authenticating users, PrestaShop preserves session attributes. Because this does not clear CSRF tokens upon login, this might enable same-site attackers to bypass the CSRF protection mechanism by performing an attack similar to a session-fixation. The problem is fixed in version 8.0.1.","modified":"2026-07-16T09:11:45.299252057Z","published":"2024-03-06T11:05:15.180Z","withdrawn":"2026-07-16T09:00:04.028456733Z","database_specific":{"cpes":["cpe:2.3:a:prestashop:prestashop:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*"],"severity":"High"},"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/security/advisories/GHSA-3g43-x7qr-96ph"},{"type":"WEB","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2023-25170"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"prestashop","ecosystem":"Bitnami","purl":"pkg:bitnami/prestashop"},"ranges":[{"type":"SEMVER","events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"fixed":"8.0.1"}]}],"database_specific":{"source":"https://github.com/bitnami/vulndb/tree/main/data/prestashop/BIT-prestashop-2023-25170.json"},"severity":[{"type":"CVSS_V3","score":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H"}]}],"schema_version":"1.7.3"}
