{"id":"AZL-64166","summary":"CVE-2025-50200 affecting package rabbitmq-server for versions less than 3.13.7-3","details":"RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. In versions 3.13.7 and prior, RabbitMQ is logging authorization headers in plaintext encoded in base64. When querying RabbitMQ api with HTTP/s with basic authentication it creates logs with all headers in request, including authorization headers which show base64 encoded username:password. This is easy to decode and afterwards could be used to obtain control to the system depending on credentials. This issue has been patched in version 4.0.8.","modified":"2026-09-12T05:27:53Z","published":"2025-06-19T17:15:26Z","upstream":["CVE-2025-50200"],"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2025-50200"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"rabbitmq-server","ecosystem":"Azure Linux:3","purl":"pkg:rpm/azure-linux/rabbitmq-server"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"fixed":"3.13.7-3"}]}],"database_specific":{"source":"https://github.com/microsoft/AzureLinuxVulnerabilityData/blob/main/osv/AZL-64166.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.9.0"}
