{"id":"AZL-106743","summary":"CVE-2026-105326 affecting package cups 2.4.19-1","details":"An argument injection flaw was found in CUPS. When email notification is configured, the CUPS scheduler accepts printer subscription requests that supply a mailto notify-recipient-uri. The mailto notifier passes the recipient address to the configured sendmail program without ensuring it cannot be interpreted as command-line options. A remote attacker who can reach the CUPS service could supply a crafted recipient value starting with \"-\" to influence sendmail behavior. Successful exploitation depends on the installed mail transfer agent and CUPS network exposure, and may lead to execution of attacker-controlled commands with the privileges of the CUPS service user.","modified":"2026-10-09T14:17:19.425610215Z","published":"2026-10-05T19:17:16Z","upstream":["CVE-2026-105326"],"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-105326"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"cups","ecosystem":"Azure Linux:3","purl":"pkg:rpm/azure-linux/cups"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"last_affected":"2.4.19-1"}]}],"database_specific":{"source":"https://github.com/microsoft/AzureLinuxVulnerabilityData/blob/main/osv/AZL-106743.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.9.0"}
