{"id":"AZL-105236","summary":"CVE-2026-102274 affecting package python-jwt 2.13.0-1","details":"PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.9.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWKSet does not catch the plain ValueError raised for malformed RSA JWK components by RSAAlgorithm.from_jwk in  jwt/api_jwk.py. This occurs when a JWK Set contains a malformed RSA key alongside otherwise usable keys. As a result, one malformed member aborts construction of the entire PyJWKSet. Consequently, applications can experience authentication failures or request-level denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0.","modified":"2026-10-01T14:15:54.203586999Z","published":"2026-09-28T21:17:15Z","upstream":["CVE-2026-102274"],"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-102274"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"python-jwt","ecosystem":"Azure Linux:3","purl":"pkg:rpm/azure-linux/python-jwt"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"last_affected":"2.13.0-1"}]}],"database_specific":{"source":"https://github.com/microsoft/AzureLinuxVulnerabilityData/blob/main/osv/AZL-105236.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.9.0"}
