{"id":"AZL-102401","summary":"CVE-2026-93199 affecting package kernel 6.6.150.1-1","details":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:\n\ni3c: master: Do not treat master device as a duplicate target\n\ni3c_master_search_i3c_dev_duplicate() searches the bus for another I3C\ndevice with the same PID as the reference device.  The search can match\nmaster-\u003ethis, causing the controller itself to be returned as a\nduplicate.\n\nSince the controller is not a target device, it cannot be a duplicate of\none.  Exclude master-\u003ethis from matching so that the function only\nreturns real duplicate target devices.","modified":"2026-09-19T05:33:49Z","published":"2026-09-17T17:18:16Z","upstream":["CVE-2026-93199"],"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-93199"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"kernel","ecosystem":"Azure Linux:3","purl":"pkg:rpm/azure-linux/kernel"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"last_affected":"6.6.150.1-1"}]}],"database_specific":{"source":"https://github.com/microsoft/AzureLinuxVulnerabilityData/blob/main/osv/AZL-102401.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.9.0"}
