{"id":"AZL-101250","summary":"CVE-2026-90007 affecting package kernel 6.6.150.1-1","details":"In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:\n\nscsi: pm8001: Use rollback index when freeing MSI-X vectors\n\npm8001_request_msix() unwinds previously registered handlers with\nfree_irq() when request_irq() fails. The rollback loop uses the failing\nindex i for every iteration instead of the already registered vector\nindex j.\n\nThat passes the wrong IRQ/dev_id pair to free_irq() and leaves the\nearlier handlers installed. Use j for both pci_irq_vector() and the\nmatching irq_vector entry in the rollback loop.","modified":"2026-09-18T05:37:08Z","published":"2026-09-16T11:17:13Z","upstream":["CVE-2026-90007"],"references":[{"type":"WEB","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-90007"}],"affected":[{"package":{"name":"kernel","ecosystem":"Azure Linux:3","purl":"pkg:rpm/azure-linux/kernel"},"ranges":[{"type":"ECOSYSTEM","events":[{"introduced":"0"},{"last_affected":"6.6.150.1-1"}]}],"database_specific":{"source":"https://github.com/microsoft/AzureLinuxVulnerabilityData/blob/main/osv/AZL-101250.json"}}],"schema_version":"1.9.0"}
